The Fairlington Farmers Market is part of Field to Table, a non-profit organization dedicated to building communities by encouraging  people to reestablish their relationship with the land and purchase from local farmers and food producers.  We strive to bring shoppers a convenient, varied blend of local producers of fruits and vegetables, baked goods, dairy products, flowers, and specialty foods that focus on improving the nutritional experience and overall health of the community.

All vendors at the Fairlington Farmers Market must be from within 125 miles of Arlington, Virginia and should sell products that they have grown or produced.   Preference will be given to food producers who maximize the use of local ingredients in value-added foods sold at market.

Interested vendors can apply through Manage My Market.  Vendors can also send an inquiry to fairlingtonfm@gmail.com to request more information.  Any new vendor applications must be reviewed and approved by the local Fairlington Farmers Market Committee under Field to Table, Inc. before they can sell at this market.

If approved by the Market Committee, prepared food providers will be asked to send us their clean kitchen certificate, health inspection report, or food services facility permit issued by the jurisdiction (VA, MD, DC, PA or WV) in which their foods are prepared.  We DO NOT ACCEPT such documents posted on managemymarket.com.

Approved vendors will be required to provide evidence of existing liability insurance in the minimum amount of $1M.  We must receive a certificate of insurance from your insurance company confirming the existence of this insurance, which must include Field to Table as an Additional Insured under your liability policy.  An approved COI must be received prior to beginning at our market.  Please note:  Field to Table's commercial general liability policy does NOT include Product coverage for items sold by our vendors in the market.  If a person claims injury due to food purchased and/or consumed in this farmers market, the resolution of such Product claim rests with your commercial general liability coverage.  Your commercial general liability insurance coverage is expected to be "primary and non-contributory" as regards any Product claims.
